Description

This is an original Perry Competition drag racing shifter. (copied by many later) Really designed to be bolted to the floor between your legs in a dragster or small car where you don’t have room on the roll cage to mount a shifter. Perry designed this when NHRA came up with the “Reverse Lock Out” rule and it’s still a cool way to do it. The T- trigger on the side lets you pull up on them with one hand to get it to neutral after going to high gear with your 2-speed forward shift Power Glide transmission. After that, and to get it in Reverse or Park you then use one hand to push down on the back of the shifter and the other hand to mover the shifter handle towards the front (Neutral/ Park).
This was designed in the late 70's.   seems to function correctly.
I have no other parts.  Only the shifter itself that has been in a display for the last 40 years.
